Jessica Rector, CEO and founder of The Single Mom Movement, shares how she began this movement that has touched so many lives of single moms to "Educate, Empower and Unite" all women who have gone through having a child and raising them on their own.

How did she manage to be both a single mom and raise this business? And how can you do the same perhaps as a single mom who wants to build a business and sustain it?

  • Change our mindset in the limiting belief we have for ourselves.
  • Get out there and network: talk to people about what you're doing.
  • Surround yourself with people who are like you, who get it: advancing people.

What is the one thing that has worked for her through it all? Jessica shares her firm foundation: "My unwavering belief in being the best parent that I can be. But just as important: my unwavering belief in what the business does - meaning serving single moms - is of the utmost important. Because I believe we need to focus more on families, and all tides will rise."
