Tonight we're talking with Geraldine (Geri) Fallo, who, as the Administrator of Cultural Affairs for Hoboken, has coordinated a series of "Sounds of Sinatra" weekends each summer to celebrate the life of Hoboken-born Frank Sinatra, including an annual "Sinatra Idol" contest.  For this, the year of the centennial of Sinatra's birth (coming up on December 12th), I thought I'd talk to Geri and find out what makes Sinatra so special to Hoboken and what her role is in making this celebration.  We'll also talk about the various events happening in June and December to celebrate 100 years of Frank Sinatra.

Geri has been organizing events for The City of Hoboken for 21 years, including the annual the Hoboken Spring & Fall Arts & Music Festival, the Summer Enchanted Evening Concert series at Sinatra Park, Movies Under the Stars at Pier A Park, Artists Studio Tour, Sinatra Idol Contest, Ragamuffin Parade, Harvest & Irish Festivals, the Holiday Craft Fair & much more.
