A Date With Judy - "Going to a Sinatra Movie" on OTR. Initially served as replacement for Bob Hope's show, A Date with Judy was teenage sitcom that aired on NBC and ABC from 1941 to 1950. The story was about the life of teenager named Judy Foster, played by actresses Ann Gillis (1941), Dennie Ellis (1942), and Louis Erickson (1943-1950). The show also had different sponsors at different periods, which include Bristol Myers, Tums, Ford Motors, and Revere Cameras. At first, the show was aired every summer, from June to September. However, since the audience, particularly the teens, could very much relate to Judy's problems at school, with her parents, and love life, the show grew very popular. As a result, in 1944, it started to be heard all-year round, and lasted for seven more years, with the final episode broadcast on May 25, 1950. A Date with Judy was also adapted for the big screen on 1948 starring Jane Powell for the lead role, along with Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Stack, Carmen Miranda, and Wallace Beery as her co-stars. A comic book adaptation was also released by the National Periodical Publications. Before television, families would gather around the radio every night and imagine with their eyes. Some of the biggest stars of the screen were featured on these popular radio shows. You will be amazed at how interesting radio can be and how your imagination can run wild. Here, you will find well known celebrities such as Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Jack Benny, and more… . Hosted by Dr. Leigh-Davis. www.DrLeigh-Davis.com or www.IMDb.me/DrLeigh-Davis. Today on the Brian The Hammer Show Brian will be talking about Headlines in the Media:
-Civil-Rights Activist Rev. Al Sharpton is leading a boycott against Kanye West, after the rapper declared he has "reclaimed" the Confederate Flag from racists, and emblazoned the symbol on his tour merchandise. - Rev. Al Sharpton took issue with comments from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin who compared the federal debt to slavery, saying it's hard not to sound racist when you make such an analogy. Sharpton said Palin shouldn't be using such rhetoric, but she's concerned with feeding her base. - Brian will call the National Action Network today to get a statement on both these issues.
-Andy Kaufman, passed away 29 years ago of cancer, is he actually alive and well, a stay at home Dad who faked his own death 29 years ago. Now his Brother Michael and an alleged 24 year old Daughter came out at the annual Andy Kaufman Awards in NYC to say his death was a hoax.
-New MSNBC Host; Ronan Farrow, allegedly Frank Sinatra's Son - Mia Farrow is claiming Frank Sinatra is actually Ronan's Father and not Woody Allen.
What's wrong with the two stories above? What makes sense, what doesn't? What do these people all have to gain by these allegations?

We got VERSE MUSIC GROUP founder #BossDiddy Micheal Mitchell & the artist Melion who was born in Philadelphia as Lateef Melion Bundy, and during the years growing up had the opportunity in traveling all across America. At an early age Melion began his journey into the world of music, and it was during the difficult years on the rough streets of Philadelphia, Melion signed his first independent label deal backed by Universal Music Group… which launched his music career performing on tour through out the world. These days this energetic songwriter, vocal producer, engineer, and entertainer has been blessed in setting himself apart from others in the R&B, Soul and Pop Genres with his soothing musicality in songs women love. I like to think of Melion as today’s version of Frank Sinatra of R&B and Soul. He has also gained a lot of experience by working with stellar artists such as Remi Ma, Paris Hilton, Jojo, and many more. Melion has also been influenced by such artists as Johnny Jill, the late Whitney Houston, the late Nat King Cole, Boyz 2 Men, the Temptations, and some of today's current artists.

Amber Weekes is a singer with all the necessary ingredients - glamour, grace, presence, and a voice that has been described as “soft as a pillow.”
