Readers Entertainment Radio presents author Maida Malby

Maida Malby had to become a storyteller. With her grandfather writing poetry, her mother teaching short story writing, and her father's voracious love of reading, Maida had all the tools to bring beautiful words to the page.

Maida writes multicultural contemporary romances set all over the world. At some point in her life, Maida has lived and worked in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States so it's not surprising those are favorite locations for her novels. She also cooks many of the dishes that she features in her books.

Maida studied several languages and can speak English, Filipino, Indonesian, French, and Thai in various degrees of fluency. Her Spanish and Japanese are good for counting numbers and ordering food. 

Her spouse serves in the USAF and she's the mother of a child who loves Super Mario.
