RTR: Not So "Gospel" music!!

Where is the Gospel in Gospel Music? There is a sprinkle of Jesus here and there. But truthfully what we hear is more about us feeling better and getting through then the Good News (Gospel). What is the purpose of Gospel Music or Christian music in general? Should we be concerned about the theology of Gospel Singers? Many of whom sing false teaching in their lyrics. What about Holy Hip Hop?  Can Hip Hop ever be "Holy"?  Is there anything wrong with christian rap?  What about other forms of music integrated into "gospel"  such as heavy metal, country, rock and roll, and even jazz.  Many people take issue with these forms of "gospel music".  What say you?  Join US this and every SUNDAY @ 10 am est as we tackle this and other topics like this to show the world Christ and their identiy In HIM.
