Did Jesus have a ceremony when he called simple fisherman to stop what they were doing and follow Him? Some of the greatest men of God who ever lived were recorded in history and yet, no purple robes were issued or cushioned, throned seats. So why do we make following Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit a huge glorification of self-centeredness? Church ceremonies have become subject to just one more form of entertainment and wonder.
