P2P - THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FREEDOM

As we conclude our "PLANTATION TO THE PEW - The Remnants & Evolution of Slavery" series, we will be discussing the responsibility that comes with freedom.  When a slave finally attained their freedom, they had to learn how to become their OWN masters.  For some this was the ultimate liberation: to be able to earn their own wage, set their own goals, and live their own life. Tasting this kind of freedom; many fought for the freedom of all.  For others, freedom was scary and intimidating.  They didn't know HOW to live free; and eventually exchanged one "massah" for another.  Are christians today truly "Free"?   Are THEY the freed slave that uses their freedom to free others and live to their fullest potential? Or are they the slave that is freed physically but enslaved mentally? Do we christians really understand our freedom in Christ?
