The Church Building Fund: Its purpose to help the church raise much needed funds to either build a new church building or make improvements. But what happens when the building fund raided by an unscrupulous pastor? In the case of Reverend Gerry James and the Friendship Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, MS you get $450,000 unaccounted for a pastor arrested on drug charges, and a shell of a building where the church once stood.
