I love the scriptures!!!

2 Nephi 21:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people;to it shall the Gentiles seek; and his rest shall be glorious.

Christ is that root. An ensign, a flag, standard, or banner of the people. As we come unto Christ our rest is glorious even in our greatest trials for there comes a witness of the goodness and purpose of life.
