I love the scriptures!!!
Nephi bears a solid testimony of his faithfulness and need of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He speaks plainly of not trusting in the arm of flesh, in man, but in God. He testifies of his confidence that he will be guided and preserved by God. We may also gain confidence in the presence of the Lord as we follow Nephi's example.
The brethren are told to ask and they will be heard if they do so in faith. They are told of the gathering to take place before the tribulation and desolation of the wicked. Are we gathered in? Is the word of God our guide and our refuge? Is the mind and will of God our highest priority or is it our body or employment or even family?
Enoch teaches that we must repent and be born of the water and the Spirit and sanctified in the blood of Jesus Christ.
I am grateful for each of these witnesses and for the consistency of the message of love, repentance, and mercy that flows through each.
May we reach into our hearts and reach out to him who cleanses us from all unrighteousness is my prayer. In Jesus name, till next time, bye for now. : )
