#74A Scriptures for the Latter Days Gen 49:28 Matt 24:29

I love the scriptures!!!

Jacob (Israel) was able to speak to his sons before he gave up the ghost and was buried by Joseph in the land of his fathers as he had him promise.

The parable of the fig tree is in Matthew. Is it not comforting that Heavenly Father does all that he can to warn us of what is happening and what is coming?!!! I see that in the scriptures and I see that in my own life. It means that I need to pay attention and do what I can to prepare for what is to come but he warns me. Sometimes he gives me a special witness of his love before something that is really hard comes to be. He does not want to see us hurt. This does not delight him but it does delight our fallen brother who will do what he can to distract us from the witness of God's love and we must do all that we can to protect that witness of his love by being humble and accepting the love and trusting he will take care of us. That does not mean that we do not need to be diligent in our daily lives to do the work he has called to do either. ; )
