I love the scriptures!!!

Today the Spirit kept coming up. : ) Throughout the scriptures testimony is made of the witness of the Holy Ghost and how he is so vital to our understanding life and our purpose in it. By this means was Lehi able to bear witness to his sons of the truthfulness of the prophecies of Joseph of Egypt as taught to him by his father. In the armor of God with the word of the Lord being revealed by the Spirit and it understanding unfolding through the Spirit. And Enoch was able to bear powerful testimony, so much so that while they thought him a wild man no one dared harm him for fear of God.

We choose daily and moment by moment which Spirit we will stand in the presence of. Christ said there are two churches, that which follows God's will and that which defies it. We decide moment by moment which we will follow and follow we must for to do it "my way" on its own just does not exist. Not if what Christ said about there being two churches is true. We are either serving one or slave to the other. What determines if we are servant or slave is our choice in who we listen to. If we think we can claim our independence from God and stand alone we become a slave. If we yield to the enticings of the Spirit and become meek and humble as a child and listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost we become servants to Christ and in this process we are re-born in the spirit and likeness of God the Father and his son, Jesus Christ.

Scriptures, they give us so much "food for thought"!

Bon appetit! : )
