I love the scriptures!!!
Lehi continues to give instructions to his sons knowing that he is nearing death. Where there is no law there is no sin and no righteousness and there is no God. The boundaries that God has establish give us direction and assurance that we may indeed have eternal life.
Emma is advised to lay aside the things of this world and seek for the things of a better. Can we not all take this into our lives?
Even in the Book of Moses we see Enoch being instructed by God to tell the people he is angry with them "for their hearts have waxed hard , and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes cannot see afar off." They cannot see that this world is not the end of their being and that to go forward and seek him diligently so that God may bless them is there for them, if only they will look.
Today we need to look at the day to day things we do and realize they are leading to a far greater purpose and cause than we suppose.
