#63A Scriptures for the Latter Days Gen 41:37 Matt 22:23

I love the scriptures!!!

Joseph is believed by Pharoah and his servants. Joseph is given authority by Pharoah over all the people. This action actually saves the entire world population because the whole world is in famine. Pharoah and his people believed Joseph, unlike the Sadducees in Matthew 22.

The Sadducees new the word of God and yet did not believe in resurrection. Interestingly enough they asked the Lord a question having to do with resurrection to tempt him and The Savior knew this. He turned it back on them though and told them that God is for the living. They had no response even though we know that in Christ we are resurrected unto eternal life.

Let us be as the people of Pharoah and listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost as he witnesses truth and not as those who study the scriptures and liken them unto man's reasoning.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; lean not unto thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
