#47 The Book of Mormon for LDS Families 2 Nephi 9:41

I love the scriptures!!!

Jacob, brother to Nephi, uses the words of Isaiah to show us that Jesus is the Gate Keeper and the only way to have eternal life. He testifies that the scriptures are to be feasted upon, and that people should look for eternal treasures rather than seeking for that which they cannot take with them beyond the grave. The Gentiles will be instrumental in bringing comfort to the House of Israel and will be as nursing mothers and fathers to them.

Is it not beautiful that these things were known by Heavenly Father way before they happened and that he will prepare us and show us how to handle them. I know that he knows what is going to happen in my life also and sets things in motion to protect me and he does the same for you. We do need to make the choice though to receive his help and turn to him and give thanks in all things.
