#57A Scriptures for the Latter Days Gen36:2 Matt 19:27

I love the scriptures!!!

Well, I love how all the scriptures testify of the same God and the same principles and such was the message today. In Genesis we read the names of wives and judges and sons and it repeated itself greatly as we heard of the lineage of Esau and how he fathered the Edomites. While it may be boring to read or seem senseless it is vital that we partake of this portion of the scripture as well or we lose that which Heavenly Father would share with us concerning his will and person. You cannot just take one part of anything and know that you have understood the whole. Consider if you will the blind men trying to describe an elephant by defining the portion they were able to feel with their hands while in one spot. : )  To me the lineages suggest God's value of who our Father's are and our mothers, as well, if you noticed the naming of the various women also.
