#43 Book of Mormon for Latter-day Saint Families 2 Nephi 7

I love the scriptures!!! 2 Nephi 7:1-8 (15 minute show) Family! This is what Isaiah used to testify of the love of God in sending his son, Jesus Christ. Family! I love the words of Isaiah! The precious truths of the atonement and the gospel are preserved in his poetic prose! Family! What is our place in it? How do we combat the armies that are fighting against it? You will see! If you will hear the words of Isaiah! How are we to behave? How are we to engage in the world? Even as Christ, he turned not his face from the spittle or from those who plucked out the hairs of his beard. He set his face like flint, to what?, to the will of the Father, and likewise, we must do nothing less if we wish to partake in his inheritance.

I must make mention of Isaiah's use of the metaphor of the mother. This relationship testifies of the union and connection between all men ever born and of our undeniable relationship and union with God. He testifies that the only thing that can separate us from each other or from God is sin...transgression...iniquity. We must turn our hearts and minds to God in all things if we are to have his spirit to be with us and if we are to have his protection and reward...most importantly if we are to feel of his love for us.
