#35B Scriptures for the Latter Days1Nephi11:1,D&C11:1-5,M4:6

I love the Scriptures!!! Review: The brothers of Nephi are not able to understand the words of their father because of the hardness of their hearts. This is a warning to us. We must know that we must "look to God" in all we do and he will guide us. We must soften our hearts and I believe this has much to do with feeling worthy and able to receive love. Love comes from God it is what God is and gives to us but he will not force it on us. And it is not based on any time requirement, it is not for only after we are thus and such it is for here and now and we must understand this to be able to "hear" his words. His words being like a "two-edged sword" as the D&C states. This may have many meanings and I do believe that one of them is that the word separates the believers from the non-believers or those who feel capable or worthy of receiving love from God and those who do not. D&C15:11 shows us who we need to be to receive his word. Moses 4:6 shows us that Satan will use whatever means he can to communicate with us. And is it because his words to us flatter and appeal that we listen??? The choice is ours; to chose life and hope in Christ or death and separation in the devil and his ways, for he will forsake all and God never will. Till next time friends, God be with you. Christa-Ann
