I love the scriptures!! I love reading them with you..Review: It is fascinating to read history from the perspective on one who was prophesying of it as the Lord did to Nephi in vs 35-39. It testifies that he is aware of the beginning and the end and rather than negating our "being" and losing context for the earthly struggle it testifies of his power and love for us. Time is an element of man, for man, to allow him to lose cognoscente of his "being" and to gain it back through faith in Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. I believe that is the purpose of life. To allow us to reach inside ourselves and be willing to "be" all that we truly are. Without that inner knowledge and witness we would be overwhelmed by the opposition that surely must be and is in all things. With that witness of our "being", and this attained only through Jesus Christ because of the fall of mankind, we can help others into a greater state of awareness of what and who they are, even as God has done for us. When in pain I become even more contemplative than usual and between shingles and a jolting forward fall the other day I am very contemplative. What I share though, I truly believe. I want you to know that. You and I are eternal beings capable of great power and knowledge. The scriptures are the road map, key, and guide to unlocking that power that is within us. It is a gift though and can not be done simply by command. Only through love, humility, and seeking God's will do we have the hope of attaining our potential. We read how Christ was with God in the Garden of Eden. Perhaps you and I helped prepared this world as well as spirit children of God before we came here to receive our tests. God knows our potential and believes in our ability to reach it and knows it is worth all the struggle and human challenges that we must face. This is my faith and my hope, through Jesus Christ, his only begotten son, in whose name I speak, amen.
