I love the scriptures!! We also are reading Moses 3:16. Review: In Nephi we see the great mercy of God in preserving a people. The Bible is missing plain and precious truths. Today we have scammers/criminals everywhere who seek to destroy righteousness just as there were when the Book of Mormon was being translated. The devil stirs them up to anger against righteousnes (D&C 10:24), yet they will be caught in their own snare (26). The devil (and his army) travels to and fro seeking to destroy. We have to choose who we will be a part of. We decided daily in the tiny choices we make. In Moses we are shown once again that God tells us what is required for obediance and gives us the option, letting us know the consequences of making a choice other than him. We have to decide which army we will be a part of. As we talked about there are only two options, God or the devil. There is no option of "my way". That is a form of flattery that the devil uses and he takes us down. There is no humility or love required to do it my way only by control can it be achieved. This is one of the most difficult and saddest of occurences because we do not want to believe that someone would be kind and helpful only to meet their own ends...I have seen the other side of that prejudice also when we choose to believe that "no one" has the capacity to be kind. This attitude is reflected in D&C 10:28 and is most destructive as well. May we decide today and while we will stumble, for the adversary is very sly, we can trust that we have a loving Savior reaching out to us continually.  Keep your eye on Jesus Christ and he will lead you home. Blessings, till next time, Christa-Ann
