Unwritten Rules

We begin the new week with some thoughts about baseball's many complexities and contradictions, especially when it comes to hard play. Dodgers second baseman Chase Utley was suspended two games for a takeout slide that broke New York Mets second baseman Ruben Tejada's leg Saturday night and the Mets (and plenty of others) are in an uproar about it.

We'll discuss why some of baseball's "Unwritten Rules" should be thrown out and others (like plays that seriously injure people) should be taken way more seriously.
