CJP Training Series - Overlap of Child Welfare and Domestic Violence

Dona Playton, J.D., University of Wyoming College of Law, will present “Overlap of Domestic Violence and Child Protection.”  Domestic violence, child abuse and juvenile delinquency are so intertwined that it is   imperative we have the knowledge and strategies to address them.  This presentation will describe the risks to children who live in homes where domestic violence is present, as well as interventions and strategies to end the cycle of violence and keep children and adult victims safe.
