This week my guest in the Southern Passion Lounge is none other than Chef Erika Davis. Erika Davis, Executive Pastry Chef at The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, lives for her pastry arts. Erika supports all of Ponte Vedra dining outlets by creating the finest and freshest of baked goods and desserts delicacies. Chef Davis joined Ponte Vedra in June of 2007 and has established a pastry crew to wow and marvel the guest and members with such favorites as Banana Rum Crème Brûlée garnished with peanut butter croutons. Chef Erika Davis is the president and creator of Culinary Wonders USA. her mission along with her hand picked Board Members of the Culinary Wonders USA is to introduce, share and cultivate minorities in the field of the culinary arts. Through the Culinary Wonders USA we will bring together “Legends” in various culinary fields that are “representing” now and/or are up and coming chefs along with our other outstanding hospitality leaders”. This is our opportunity to come together and recognize not only our unique crafts and specialties but the true excellence of the people behind them as well. Chef Erika Davis has also created her own cookie company called the Ultimate cookie dough company.
