Who Taught You How to Love?

Listen to "Writeous Talk on Love and Relationships" every Tues evening 7- 8pm EST. "Who taught You how to love?" Love is not something we learn in school at least not in the curriculum. Do we learn from the example of our parents? Is love something that just happens to us?Do we have a choice in the matter? Is love just a superficial feeling? Does it all depend on who you ask and what their experiences have shown them? What influence, if any, does entertainment or the media play in how we love and even who we love? Some say love just happens. It's something that can't be explained. There is an endless number of questions, thoughts, and ideas about love. We haven't even mentioned sex and its impact. Most have never thought about what constructs their beliefs about love though most have very strong feelings on the subject. Tonight we'll begin to unravel some of these issues to get a better understanding of love to lay a foundation to build a lasting relationship upon.
