Blackhawks blow big lead, but hold off WildTeuvo Teravainen broke a tie with his first playoff goal and the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Friday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinal series. The Blackhawks, trying to knock out Minnesota for the third straight year, struck first after taking out Nashville in six games in the opening round. Game 2 is Sunday night in Chicago.

NHL: Lightning 2, Canadiens 1 (2OT)Tyler Johnson and Max Pacioretty exchanged goals in the second period and Nikita Kucherov came through in double overtime to break the deadlock for the Lightning and steal home-ice advantage from the Canadiens. TB leads series 1-0.
