 Mara Alexander is the founder and creator of GlutenFreeWorld TV, a website with gluten-free video travel logs, articles, restaurant reviews, recipes, and interviews. Mara loves to share her experiential knowledge with having traveled over 500,000 miles via land, sea and air in her worldwide adventures. In early 2012, her advocacy work via her website landed her a nomination as the "Top 40 under 40" and "Young Executive of the Year" for the 2012 Naked Pizza Annual Foggy Awards, an honor given to those who shed light on the gluten-free community. She is a Certified Health Consultant through the Academy for Healthcare Management, a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a gluten-free and Celiac advocate, and she has been in the health care industry for over a decade.  When not traveling around the world, Mara resides in Northern Louisiana with her husband Kevin.
