Natural Hair for African American Women ~ Discussion

Having recently made the decision to wear my own personal hair in the natural state that is on my head, I have received mixed reviews from family, friends, co-workers and even people that don't even know.

I recently watched some you tube videos from the Tyre Banks show and some of them made me cry, some made me mad, one lady said that since her daughter went natural she was not presentable anymore and that she (the mom) could not introduce her to anyone that she knows.

That upset me and got me to thinking, what is it about African American women wearing their nature God-given hair is so wrong and unacceptable even to African Americans hers in the US.

This show will openly discuss various views on this very touchy subject in the African American Community and we welcome each and everyone that wants to voice their thoughts on this subject to please join us.
