TEACHER UNDER a MICROSCOPE, Xlibris,20001. The US Department of Education in 1978 studied three other teachers and me as we attempted to integrate diverse students. Called the MESE, Multi-Ethnic School Environments Project it was compiled by Dr.Leonard C.Beckman who later became my doctoral advisor. We were observed all day, every day, and everything we said and did was written in hundreds of pages of detailed observations. It stated I had developed a unique and effective method of integration and Dr. B. offered me a job traveling the country teaching it. I couldn’t afford the pay decrease and I wouldn’t leave my wife and children. The study made many suggestions for the district to improve. Nothing! JOIN ME WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 16, 2011 @ 6PM
