What’s killing more black people than police brutality and black on black crime put together? Cancer, Obesity, heart disease etc. Today my guest brother Totep and I will be looking into the health crisis that is slowly destroying the black community. Health is sensitive topic in the black community, that needs to be investigated. Not only will we be talking about diet and how it affects our mental and physical well being. But we will also be going in on mental health and the things that trigger mental illness in the black community. (Drugs, Music, environment, lack of education, dysfunctional family, poverty etc) The more we study history, diet, and how our body functions the more we see how sick we really are. This sickness needs to be addressed “HOLISTICALLY” not in fragments. Everything that makes up the human being (Mentally/Emotionally, Physically, Spiritually, Economically, Socially) is interconnected and plays a key role in our overall well being. So please, tune in as we look into what’s taking place in the black community and help us come up with practical solutions to contain the diseases, we are drowning in.
