SORT BY Relevancy
This is Team Afrika Unity Radio with MemphisX. Tonight we will continue with our grassroots revolution by starting with SELF. We will talk about what you and I personally need to be doing to keep the revolution in motion or to jump startthe revolution within ourselves. -------------------------------------------------------- Here we ask three questions: 1. Are you a descendant of Afrikan slaves or an indigenous Afrikan? 2. Do you believe that descendants of Afrikan slaves and indigenous
This marks the return of TEAM AFRIKA RADIO. On this episode we will begin our discussion on the practical aspects of sovereiggnty. Mostly this show will be about a reintroduction to BlogTalkRadio and defining the critical terms around Afrikan Sovereignty. Also, I will discuss what I have been doing for the last year. I have finally been able to nail down a time I will be able to consistently do the show. Thursdays at 4:30 PM Central time/5:30 PM Eastern Time.
Team Afrika Unity Radio Tonight's show we dial it back to the the starting line. As much as I would love to get into some deep theorizing on Afrikan topics, I am not ready for that yet. After taking an honest assestment of myself, I felt it was best to take it back to the basics of WHO AM I? What is my role in this movement? What do I want Afrikan people in America to have as a result of this movement? However, I will not stop there. Like most Afrikans educat
Tune in tonight as our guest, Dr. Llaila Afrika gives a raw, uncut, unfiltered assessment of the state of affairs amongst "our people."
PLEASE SUPPORT OUR EFFORTS---
To usher in our THIRD year of existence this month, all month we will have interviews, with powerful people in the Global Afrikan Community. We have titled it
THE SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER
We will kick things off w/ an hour long discussion with CONTINENTAL-BORN Afrikan from Ghana--Kwesi Ernest Nanor.
We became friends from the plantation job I have & when I found out he was from Ghana, I tried out some of my limited Twi on him & he was so impressed that I knew ANY of the language, we became instant friends.
After further talks w/ him about language, culture, loving Afrikan people (stolen-Diasporic & disrupted-continental), the insanity of caucasoid culture & his passion w/in each of those listed areas, I knew I HAD TO SHARE HIM W/ OUR AFRIKA'S REASCENSION audience.
So, all month WE WANT INTERACTION from you, the listening audience.
If you have always had questions from a STILL AFRIKAN LOVING AFRIKAN WHO WAS BORN ON THE CONTINENT, NOW IS YOUR CHANCE. We will only have him for the 1st hour, so call in (760-454-1111) or join the chat ON TIME & PLEASE PLEASE BE READY TO PARTICIPATE in what I am sure will be an excellent discussion!!!
Team Afrika Radio presents Practical Afrikan Sovereignty. We will delay our response to Dr. James Smalls lecture from last week and move on to something that hit my spirit. We will be discussing freedom today. What is freedom? What does it meanto you personally? Here we will take the show in its new direction and focus on what I consider the #1 topic for Afrikans in search of sovereignty...economics/money. Today we will begin a season long series on financi
Team Afrika Radio presents Practical Afrikan Sovereignty. In this episode we will focus the need and power of setting goals. It should not come as a surprise that 97% of Americans do not have written goals and 97% of Americans will retire on less income than they currently make. The importance of goals in all areas of life is something the sovereign Afrikan must grasp. Some topics that will be discussed: What are goals? What is the difference between a goal and a dream? How d
Team Afrika Radio presents episode 2 of Practical Afrikan Sovereignty. In this episode we will focus on what I consider the main thing the Afrikan centered community in America is missing: The Good Book. Where is our Message to the Blackman? Where is our Holy Bible? Where is our Book of Mormon? How can their be a grassroots, door to door campaign for Afrikan sovereignty when there has not been an agreed upon playbook? Who should be writing the playbook? Plus, why
Afrika Bambaataa is one of the three main originators of break-beat deejaying, and is respectfully known as the "Grandfather" and "Godfather" of Hip Hop Culture as well as The Father of The Electro Funk Sound. Through his co-opting of the street gang the Black Spades into the music and culture-oriented Zulu Nation, he is responsible for spreading rap and hip-hop culture throughout the world. He has consistently made records nationally and internationally, every one to two years, spanning the 1980's into the next Millennium 2000.
