Cruising the Mic with Tim'm West and Ra Pierre

Poet and youth activist Tim’m West and Ra Pierre the youngest poet featured on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam will join CWT4R co-hosts Ina, Michelle and Terry Boi performing not only poetry but rap.Tim’m West became a contributor to the world when he found out while going after his PH.D in philosophy he was HIV Positive.          

 Ra a young Chicago success was introduced into the public eye when he won Chicago’s “Louder Than A Bomb” youth poetry slam, and nationally was a finalist 2 years with Brave new Voices. Rah is one of the young voices that have come out of the Midwest featured in the Windy City Times, The Chicago FreePress, and the Hammond Star.
