Michael Ophiel is a professional reader based out of Pittsburgh, Pa. He began reading cards at the age of 12, using cards based on the traditional symbolism of early Renaissance decks. He has 22 years of experience with the tarot, having worked both professionally and privately in a variety of capacities. He has operated as a diviner and spiritual consultant in multiple esoteric and newage stores, as well as having run a Tarot call center in Portland, Or which employed multiple readers around the clock. Michael is a practitioner of the spiritual tradition of Hermetism, which has its roots in Egyptian Cults, and is a member of the Hermetic Federation and the Gnostic Church. In addition to this, he has also studied multiple traditions of spiritual practice such as Shamanism, spiritual cleansing, ancestor veneration, spiritism, angelic theurgy, natural magic, and the seven rays. He is also a student and practitioner of Haitian Vodou. As a diviner, he uses the Tarot compassionately as his primary tool.
