 Matthew lives in Los Angeles pursuing an acting and producing career. He has been in numerous films, most notably his most recent "The Take" starring John Leguizamo, Rosie Perez, & Tyrese Gibson; he was also the Executive Producer, with the film being produced by his own film production company, Hatchet Films. Rosie Perez was nominated for best supporting actress by the Independent Spirit Awards.

Darryl M. Bell (sometimes credited as Daryl Bell; born May 10, 1963) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role as college student Ron Johnson, Jr. on the NBC sitcom A Different World. Additionally, he appeared as Morris Clay in the UPN sitcom Homeboys in Outer Space, and had a minor part in the 1988 Spike Lee film School Daze.

Bell is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. He pledged into the fraternity through Delta Zeta Chapter in Spring 1982.
