Emmy nominee, Former Shelby County Prosecutor and Criminal Court Judge, Joe Brown  surrendered himself into custody Thursday on Contempt of Court Charges, after his appeal was rejected by the Tennessee Supreme Court. The contempt charges stem from a 2014 child support case. Brown cited the law and questioned the legal process the magistrate was following when he denied Brown’s client the right to be heard in court and testify under oath in her defense.
