Greg Dwyer on Building Fortunes Radio

My name is Rich Cyr. My love of writing began at a very early age. I was severely shy as a young boy. I would spend most of my time reading, which led to a love of writing. I would write my stories and later on the neighborhood kids would gather around to watch my brother's and I act out these stories.

Even though I was shy, the only time I felt comfortable in front of a group was when I would come to school to read what I wrote to the class. My classmates seemed to enjoy them, and my teacher recognized a hidden talent in me. She enrolled me in a Creative Writing class. I was reluctant at first, but came to enjoy the camaraderie.

As I became older my priorities changed, but I never lost my love of reading and writing. It wasn't until last year that I mentioned to a friend that I was interested in writing more stories. My friend recommended that I download the writing app Wattpad. I loved it. I began writing fast and furious. In less than a year I had finished 3 short stories and 2 novellas. The reception was great, but I wanted to expand to a wider audience. My friend Ryan Abbott had just started his own publishing company, RAYOR PUBLISHING. He offered to publish all 5 stories in one book. That was how 'Confessions of A Frenetic Mind: 5 Tales of Blood-Curdling Terror got its start. It was first released on Amazon, and later Barnes & Noble. Hoodies and t-shirts were also created, making a great companion piece to my first published novel. I was recently asked to have a book signing at a local Barnes & Noble, hopefully the first of many.

Sit back and relax as you read my 5 Tales of Terror. Let me know what you think...... IF YOU SURVIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
