She hopes her roller-coaster life, with more than its fair share of sorrow and desperation, will inspire others to turn their life around, just like she did. She has received numerous awards, including the Woman in Leadership Award from the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and was named the PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) 25 year Honoree, with a section of the PATH homeless shelter named in her honor.
