During this interview Ryan will talk with Cruise with Bruce host, Bruce Oliver about his trip to France with his new bride Brandi. And this will be the first interview after his vacation in France and Europe. Ryan will also talk about his books: Snapshot and To Nourish and Consume.
About Ryan O’Reilly, Because of expectations for him to graduate college and work for the family business, O’Reilly Auto Parts, started by his grandfather, Ryan O’Reilly felt cornered. And after four years of doing just that, he felt something was missing and needed more from his life.
After selling his house and everything he owned on a whim, he traveled around the U.S. with only a backpack and a motorcycle. Hence, his semi-autobiographical travel novel, Snapshot, was birthed. Snapshot is the story of a man in his late 20s who leaves his corporate life to travel the country after a series of unfortunate events. During this time, he experiences the country and its people in ways that have a deep effect on him, discovering that life is about more than the generally accepted practice of going to school, finding a career, having a family, retiring and dying – it’s important to find value in life everywhere and as often as you can.
He just got back from a honeymoon in Europe and France with his new bride. He will talk about his trip and give listeners tips on visiting France. He will give us input on where the best sights are in France, French Cuisine and the best places to visit in the wilds of France
