SDG 383 Sozos and The First Century Church - Acts 2:22-26

Today we'll look at the amazing first century church and our vision for The Sozos ministry. Folks THIS is what God wants every church to be!

The New Testament church is to be a spirit-filled, Bible-believing, Christ-honoring ecclesia which becomes a mighty weapon in the hands of our holy God. So God’s pattern for the church and our desire for Sozos is found right here in the book of Acts.

This world doesn’t get their idea of Jesus Christ from the word of God, because they don’t read it. They get that from you and me!  So let's look at Peter's  mission statement for the Church found right here in the second chapter of the book of Acts and we will see that we are told to:

1. Exalt the Savior.

2. Evangelize the sinner.

And then

3. Enlist the saints!
