1 John 1:3-10

Many Christians live defeated lives because they're carrying around a backpack loaded with guilt.  I've even heard one whom I ministered with on a Blog Talk Show say repeatedly "LORD get me off this demon infested rock."!

Well that's not a demonstration of a life lived in victory, victory over sin and death.  That's a testimony to guilt!

God doesn't want to us to be burdened with guilt, nor does He want to push us away but rather draw us closer to Himself.

Now we all know a Christian can slip and fall into sin suddenly and without intending to fall, but I believe a true child of God who hates sin as much as God does also has a desire for a quick recovery.

The Bible teaches that although a child of God may sin, that doesn't compromise our sonship but rather our fellowship with Him and others, hence the title of this message.
