The week after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ left His disciples  discouraged

And frankly that’s very similar to the walk of many believers today after the initial excitement of their salvation wears off.

Then the disciples’ disappointments lead to doubt and doubt to discouragement.

But this message is encouragement for all of us who face disappointments in life.

Luke Chapter 24 deals with the week after The Resurrection and there’s an incredible lesson here on establishing and sustaining a burning, blazing emotional, passionate love for Jesus Christ.

Now there’s nothing deader than a dead orthodoxy.  You know; the person who knows the Truth, and can cross every “T” and dot every “I”, but cannot live a life of victory in The Resurrection.
