John 13:34–35

We all need the fruit of the spirit known as love if we ever want to experience joy.

So what does this "love" look like?  Well 2000 years ago it was blood shed on the cross.

Now we’ll never be able to use our spiritual gifts if we don't have this Christ-like “Crazy-Love”!

Jesus said, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

So we don't need a lapel pin or a bumper sticker, but sadly today we live in a world of abounding iniquity and dwindling love.

And there's a great need for this old-fashioned crazy love, but even ordinary romantic love is very hard to explain and even harder to express.

So just imagine how much more difficult is it to express this ‘Crazy-Love’ of God like when Jesus said:

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another”

So let’s look at the story of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet as an illustration of this love worth finding, sharing and sending, because it's actually a wonderful lesson on His “Crazy-Love” which is self-less, steadfast, serving and sanctifying!
