Galatians 5:22

What we believe determines what we do in life.  So the question is how do we show our faithfulness? The answer to that question will reveal if we are living according to the Word of God!

So far, we've studied the first six fruits of The Spirit and they are all qualities in the life of our LORD Jesus Christ.  Today, we come to the seventh fruit 'faith' perhaps better called “faithfulness.”

Now that's not only what we believe, but how we live, and what we do, as a result of what we believe.  And that's a quality admired by all including God!  In fact, God not only admires it, He requires it!

See 1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

So the truth is it doesn't matter how much ability or  personality or intelligence you have, or how hard you work, if you can’t be depended upon plain and simple, you are no good.  Faithfulness includes integrity, honesty, trustfulness, and loyalty.

So are you a faithful person? Can you be depended upon?

A recent Gallup poll reported that 40% of Americans admit that they call in sick when not sick; they short-change customers, take short cuts and cheat on tests.

Ever wonder how many people are not even honest enough about their dishonesty to say that they do these things?!

Mr. Gallup said:

“In my estimation, as a scientific researcher, America is in a crisis of the first magnitude. The crisis is not political; it is not military. It is spiritual and moral. There is a spiritual and moral integrity crisis in the United States of America.”

So are you a faithful person?  Listen to this message to learn the marks, motivation and method of faithfulness, the seventh fruit of the Spirit!
