Welcome to the show!!! Today, Hammer & Ellen J welcome author Nicholas Connor Chadwick into the studio; Mr. Chadwick will be talking about his fantasy/sci-fi series, Firestorm:Origins. Firestorm:Origins a four-part series mixing fantasy and sci-fi into a seamless story about a young girl named Aryn who is gifted with the ability to bend fire to her will. She was born on Varius, a world parallel to Earth where all the different monsters from different mythologies reside. She was sent to Earth at a young age to escape this war-torn world and struggled to find anyone else with a gift like her for years, traveling between the worlds in search of a person to call her partner. Her world is turned upside down after a boy with the gift of water falls from the sky and apprentices with her at the Quarter Moon Guild on Varius to learn more about their gifts. This man claims to have no memories of his past life except that his name is Milo. Just after apprenticing, Varius has fallen into a state of temporal crisis, and it's up to this unlikely duo to find the cause and stop Varius from plunging into darkness.

I've been writing for eight years and have been working on this particular project for 3 of those years. I've drawn a map of the continent, developed dozens of deities, created thousands of years of lore for future adaptations, and poured countless hours of research into every facet of my books, ensuring precise historical, mythological and geographical accuracy while still putting my own twist on it. There are a wide array of colorful characters to get to know, each one with their own stories and pasts that are slowly revealed throughout the series.

If you would like to join us live in the studio and ask Mr. Chadwick some questions, the number to call is 319-527-6099.
