This morning as I lay on my bed about 3:00 a.m., God spoke to me and told me to say these words "God is in control".  As I heard the words, I said I will only say what you say.  In Psalm 37, God is attempting to comfort David about the works of evildoers.  Particularly, with respect to when we see persons that are viewed as having great power and control and what effect they are destined to have on our lives,  God has promised that despite the affluent and weighty elements of a person's lifestyle, we shall have the victory over those that oppose God's will. The Lord has declared that those with affluent power and wicked intentions will not be able to conquer the righteous.   Psalm 37 lends itself to reassuring the righteous and the just that justice will be rendered and those that bolster of a hope that is in riches and influences based on worldly values shall be defeated.  They will be defeated because  they turned away from the Lord and continually engage  in rogery.  Despite these seemingly uncertain circumstances, God is saying that "I am in control".
