- The Warriors find themselves in a position very familiar to the Rockets' last year - up 3-2 with a key player sidelined by injury for the foreseeable future. Kevin Durant when down in game 5 with a calf strain and he's unlikely to play for the rest of this semifinals series, which means the Warriors are going to have to close out the Rockets without him.

It's a lot like how Chris Paul had that hamstring injury in game 5 of last season's Western Conference final series and with a 3-2 lead, the Rockets were going to have to eliminate the Warriors without their second-best player. They couldn't do it and it really sucked for Rockets fan to watch it all slip away like that. So it's the Rockets' turn to have some luck swing their way this time. 

- So that Los Angeles team in purple and gold. Is that the Lakers or the Knicks? Is that a distinction without a difference these days?

- Kyrie Irving sold Boston fans a false bill of goods. But no one seemed to buy more into Kyrie than himself.
