Lisa Dryer has the incomparable Alisa Marie back to "Mess With MS," to share Strength, Hope, and Humor on this VERY SPECIAL episode!

My name is Lisa Dryer and I have been on the Brain Injury Radio Network as a guest and as a host for two years now.   When I was a child, I endured learning difficulties and had a seizure disorder. This was caused by the cardiac arrest and the lack of oxygen to my brain as a premature infant in the Neonatal Care Unit.

When I was an adult, I finally realized that what I thought was a "learning disability" was actually a brain injury with the complications Premature birth can have. I had been struggling with akward health difficulties for a while. Then I saw a computerized tomography (CT) scan, and I laughed and when showed an abnormal brain reading. I said,“I know that already! Tell me something I don’t know!” Then, they told me I had M.S. and I took the news with ease. Without knowing it to be a serious health complication! From my first interview, I have said that my outlook on life would be, “Find the beautiful around you and stay calm.” That is where my idea for the grassroots #MSbeautiful came from.

While it is important to acknowledge our MS or BI it is also important to remember to RELAX when we can! To Have Fun! To try to learn new coping mechanisms and to try to meet and communicate with the important or sometimes new people in our lives! I am having the incomparable Alisa Marie on my show tonight! 7/13/2019 at 5:30 PST-8:30 Eastern  This will be a very special episode! Please tune in for more giveaways and lots of strength, hope and wonderful survivor stories!  424-243-9540
