So why after all these years of brain injury awareness campaigns that started in 1983, that there is still little known about brain injury?  Aren’t people listening or don’t they care?  Tonight, we will talk about how long brain injury awareness has been happening and what else we can do to make brain injury awareness a reality.  Why isn't there more discussions about creating cost effective brain injury services and discussing the recovery process after brain injury?   Who benefits from all our hard work to make people aware of brain injuries?    Why is brain injury the most lucrative field in rehabilitation medicine and yet little known about what a brain injury is and how best to treat it?  Why is that advocacy groups only talk about problems after a brain injuries instead of solutions many of us face after a brain injury?   Who benefits from all our hard work to make people, doctors and lawyers aware of these solutions?  Good questions.  Listen to tonight’s show - call in and share your ideas and recommendations.  Thank You!
