"The Matt Duffin Show" - Dr Lisa Thompson Foundation

The family loss of Dr. Normand Townley turned being the BI's gain.  Dr. Townley attended Ohio State University Medical School before finishing his residency in Anesthesiology at Indiana University Medical Center.  Retirement came in 2008 after 45 years of practice in the active field.  In 2005, he and wife Mickey experienced the suicide death of their daughter, Dr. Lisa Thompson.  Attaining a TBI in 1999, Dr. Thompson's long period of depression took her life. Since, they have had a passion for aiding in the education, research, and treatment of TBI Survivors and their Families.  Thru RHI the Dr. Lisa Thompson Center for Education and Research for TBI Survivors began.  Personally, The Dr. Thompson Foundation restored my being plus BI Awareness, PEER Mentor; even earned BIAA 2011 Courage Award. A sad, lovely, inspiring story.  Dr Lisa's School is like no other.   Also, regular guests Deborah Berry/Dr. Kevin B
