It is because someone else has been our voice for generations, not so they can help us, but study us, control us, control what resources are available to us.we represent billions and billions each year.
when you ask someone what brain injury looks like you will be surprised. I challenge folks to ask some random people when you think of brain injury what comes to your mind. It will scare you, our voice has been waisted, and exploited.
Now the time is hear to take charge of our voice, and our lives and supports. No one knows what we go through unless they have been there, our caregivers and families experience exhaustion till they cannot take it any more.and we are left alone.
People make the billions, don't give all the valuable resources that are available,families are destroyed before you can blink almost.
The time is now, change only happens when a culture comes together, let us unite and change this system to a priority of helping and servicing profit and the limelight
