Equine Vet - Romance Author

grew up wild in the redwoods of coastal California, mostly on a pony, attended UC Davis School of Vet Med, and practiced in the gold country of Placerville for two years before heading for the wilds of New Zealand. She is the proud mother of two boys in New Zealand. When she's not writing, she's swinging a rapier or shooting a bow in medieval garb, driving a carriage or playing in her garden on her hobby farm, singing, cooking, being an equine veterinarian or high school science teacher. She is multiply published and awarded in special interest magazines and veterinary periodicals.

Her first novel A Long Trail Rolling, won the 2014 Pacific Hearts Award, for the unpublished full manuscript. The second, The Hills of Gold Unchanging, is half completed. The third in the series, A Sea of Green Unfolding, is partially done and research is in progress for the fourth, A Bold Country Evolving. They are historical adventure fiction, some would call the first two Westerns, featuring 1860's Utah desert, the Pony Express, the Virginia City Comstock Lode and California Malakoff Diggins. The third details history of Redwood City and La Honda, CA and 1863 New Zealand, at the start of the Waikato Wars, and the fourth continues in New Zealand as war continues to wrack the young nation.
